Funeral services for Charles W. Lambertson, 91, were held Thursday, Mar 11, at 2:00 p.m. from the Mabley Chapel in Oxford. rev Wilbur N. webber of the Oxford Baptist church offciating and burial was in Oxford Cemetery.

Mr. lambertson died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Amy Nichols, near Port huron, Monday evening, Mar 8, following a year's illness. He was born in Addison Township, Oakland County, Oct 27, 1856, the son of William and elizabeth Raub Lambertson. He was married to Julie Ann Shaults on Dec 10, 1897. he had lived in Oxford for over 80 years and was a member of the Maccabees and Modren Woodman of America.

Surviving are the daughter above mentioned and three sisters, Mrs. hannah Allen and Mrs. Sarah Allen of Oxford, and Mrs Louise Swanson of Lakeville. Mr. Lambertsonn was the grandfather of Charles Lortz of Lake Orion and had made his home with the lortz family for several years.
